An interactive recommendation experience letting customers browse Fielmann’s assortment through intuitive swiping, with a real-time ML-powered recommendation engine identifying the right frame.
Architected the recommendation engine translating user interactions into real-time frame suggestions
Built the full user journey from virtual try-on through to personalised assortment browsing
Delivered end-to-end: Keras/Python ML model, Kotlin backend services, Kafka event stream, and frontend

Technical and content redesign of expose and home page for one of Germany’s largest real estate portals — migrating a legacy Struts1 application to modern Java web technologies without disrupting live operations.

Extracted a functional domain from the monolith while systematically reducing existing dependencies
